INTERREG BeNeDrone Project
Client: Interreg
BeNeDrone brings together 13 partners from the Netherlands and Belgium, hospitals, universities, and tech companies like LuGus Studios, to explore the future of medical drones. The project investigates how drones can transport medicine, blood, or organs swiftly and reliably, bypassing traffic and obstacles to save critical time and lives.
This project explores how drones can be used efficiently, safely, and legally in cross-border medical transport. We are mapping out the medical and economic benefits, studying regulations, and building virtual training environments where professionals and policymakers can prepare for real-world deployment.
BeNeDrone is not science fiction, it’s a concrete step toward safe and impactful use of medical drones, with one clear goal: saving lives.
This publication was produced within the framework of the project BeNeDrone (Int6A069) co-funded by Interreg Vlaanderen-Nederland and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
